196,989 food-label records, 3,000 book works and 11 equipment references: 200,000 distinct profiles.

Food label data

We selected distinct barcode and normalized title/brand/pack combinations from Open Food Facts’ official bulk CSV, retrieved October 24, 2026. Selected records have a product photo, recorded energy and at least five nutrient fields. Data is contributor-entered, can contain errors and may describe an old package. The presence of a record is not a breastfeeding suitability assessment.

Figures are source-normalized per 100 g or 100 mL. Use the same basis as the physical label. The optional portion tool only multiplies these figures; it does not convert mass and volume or recommend intake. Missing values and allergens are not inferred to be zero or absent.

Food photos are displayed unchanged from images.openfoodfacts.org and credited to Open Food Facts contributors under CC BY-SA 3.0. Each profile links its original product record, which includes contributor information. Packaging artwork and trademarks may have other rights. A photo may show an old or different package. No Amazon product images are copied.

Parenting and nutrition books

Open Library’s September 2026 bulk snapshot supplies titles, author references and recorded subjects. We filter explicit adult parenting, lactation, nutrition and cooking topics, and deduplicate work IDs and title/author combinations. Books are not read, medically reviewed or endorsed. Older books may contain outdated advice. Associated covers load directly from Open Library and may show another edition.

Equipment references

A small, separately researched directory cites current manufacturer pages or manuals. Original illustrations are labelled as illustrations. No performance test, clinical benefit, accessory compatibility, Amazon stock or price is implied.

Health context

Use the calculator as an estimate and discuss individual nutrition or feeding concerns with a qualified professional. CDC describes additional calorie needs as dependent on individual circumstances; supplements and herbal products should not be treated as automatically necessary or free from side effects.
